Fireworks factories are expected to resume production soon

December 06,2022

At present, some fireworks and firecrackers factories in Liuyang and Jiangxi are still closed due to the COVID-19 restriction measures. From November 5 to 13, due to the lockdown of Liuyang City, production of most fireworks and firecrackers factories in the area was affected.

Good news is that, into December, signs show that China's COVID restrictions are easing. Industrial centers including Guangzhou have reopened markets and businesses and lifted most curbs on movement. Some experts say the impact on fireworks and firecrackers factory production and international logistics will gradually ease.

However, another factor affecting fireworks production is that the Chinese New Year will fall in late January this year, which means that from mid-January,

fireworks factories will be closed again for the New Year holiday. As usual, production will not reopen until February.
